Its definitely a resort sports bar. However, they have a back patio overlooking the river and tons of vegan/vegetarian/GF foods! (also some good drink selections) Its more low-scale as you order from the bar and food is served in plastic baskets but I was surprised with how good it was (Vegetarian here!).
Have to order at the bar,really? Frozen food at best. Chicken fingers were flat and looked processed,hamburger was tasteless. Very disappointed waste of our hard earned money.

We came to the beautiful Waterville Valley for a wedding, and the experience we had while at Legends was disappointing to mediocre at best. It was unbelievably stuffy and hot, the bartenders had burned out, grumpy attitudes (like you would expect at the very end of the summer season, not the end of July), the beer (oh did I mention NO hard liquor?) was warm. My favorite part was when I asked the bartender if there were any good spots out of the resort to go to over the weekend for live music or entertainment, he thought I meant for after the wedding the next night and barked "if you leave here after the wedding, I'll call the cops on you myself" *his comment was made to us during our FIRST beer, and in no way would we ever drink and drive* To be fair, there were a couple hundred kids there the same weekend for a hockey tournament, and as a fellow service industry person I can say I am CERTAIN the staff was OVER the needy kids running all over the bar/resort.
Was just ok. A little. Over priced.
