It's haunted!

Great collection of antique pharmacy paraphernalia.

The first part of the tour gives you a peak into the decor and life of tje people living in a home in the 1800s. My favorite wasthe upstairs room with all the memorabilia from the local history, including manufacturing, native heritage, wars fought, stores long passes, the fair grounds in Waterville, and many other items in the collection. The trip ends in the Apothecary with a medicine collection provided by the Laverdiare's. Kids are free and tours start on the hours. Please check to find the seasonal schedule.

Great collection!

I sent a message to the museum website saying that I had a history paper to write and if they had any resources I could use. I got a message back almost immediately saying that they have lots of resources and I was welcomed to use their library. I show up the next Saturday promptly at 2pm for a tour and no one is here! Everything is locked up and the phone's answering machine cuts off before you can leave a message. I'm appalled that a museum this tiny would turn away any patrons. I know how to rely on the Internet instead of an actual historical society for my paper. Disgusting service.
