The improvements are ongoing and awesome. The people working here are fun. The tickets are reasonably priced and by purchasing coupon books I save a bunch on my favorite movie treats. Its a great crowd on opening nights, cheers, clapping, laughing. Everything I want from a local movie theater.
I just called in and talked to Kate, she identified herself as the manager of this flagship cinemas for the last 4.5 years. I asked if its possible to purchase a $100 giftcard over the phone for my family that would have been attending tonight. I understand its not standard practice, but it takes less than five minutes and is such a small inconvenience for an employee to complete. Especially since customer service is part of being a manager. Every credit card machine has the ability to manually punch in card numbers and expiration dates to make purchases, which is what every other establishment does for my over the phone requests. Kate, the manager, was rude and had zero interest in trying to help me. Just spoke with the actual manager, Kim and she stated its a flagship policy to not sell gift cards over the phone. I asked if she would be able to make an exception or help me out and she said shes not able to do it. I asked if there was a specific reason and was told that she knows how to do it, she just doesnt because of policy.
Updated reviewFirst I apologize for not contacting Kim. I am kindof glad I didn't so I can give an honest update. 10 times better than last visit. SUPER CLEAN. and very courteous staff. I would give 5 stars if the seats were better and I could purchase tickets online without going to some third party service.Much better all together and glad to give a good review. DIRTY DIRTY DIRTYThey are currently under construction and the place is a mess. I get that much. But the bathroom are absolutely disgusting. Just make sure you "go" before you go to the movies.
Been a while since I've gone to a theater and it was a great reminder to not go again... they bombard you with commercials for 20 minutes... do yourself a favor and show up 15 minutes late if start time to miss most of them
